Digital Dental Restoration Workflow | Precision Manufacturing, Perfect Balance of Aesthetics and Function
UMEI’s digital dental restoration solution is centered on precise digital technology, enabling intelligent control of the entire workflow from intraoral scanning to final restoration delivery, providing patients with an efficient, comfortable, and highly personalized dental restoration experience.
The process begins with high-precision intraoral scanning, which quickly captures 3D data of the patient’s oral cavity, replacing the cumbersomeness and discomfort of traditional impression taking. Professional dental design software is then used for virtual restoration planning, accurately defining tooth morphology, occlusion, and aesthetic proportions. A wax-up (or digital wax-up, as shown in the yellow model) is created, allowing patients and clinicians to preview the final result in advance.
Once the design is confirmed, high-precision CNC equipment is used for the cutting and forming of the restoration. Whether it’s a full ceramic crown, veneer, or bridge, micron-level precision is achieved, ensuring excellent marginal fit and structural stability. The final restoration (shown as the white finished product) undergoes fine polishing and shade adjustment, perfectly integrating with the natural dentition, balancing natural translucent aesthetics with stable, long-lasting masticatory function.
End-to-end digital control not only significantly shortens the restoration cycle but also maximizes the preservation of natural tooth structure, reduces clinical operation time and patient discomfort, and guarantees the long-term durability of the restoration and periodontal health, creating an ideal smile that combines function and beauty for every patient.
