Digital Dental Aesthetic Restoration Workflow
UMEI’s digital dental aesthetic restoration workflow delivers a seamless, precision-driven journey from digital design to final smile transformation.
Starting with high-precision intraoral scanning, we capture a detailed 3D model of the patient’s oral anatomy, eliminating the discomfort of traditional impression methods. Advanced dental design software is then used to create a virtual wax-up (represented by the golden prototype above), where every tooth’s shape, contour, and aesthetic proportion are meticulously planned. This digital preview allows clinicians and patients to visualize the final outcome, adjust occlusion, and refine smile aesthetics before any physical production begins, ensuring full alignment with functional and cosmetic goals.
Once the design is finalized, the restoration is milled from high-performance dental ceramics using CNC technology, achieving micron-level accuracy for an impeccable marginal fit. The finished white restorations (shown below) undergo expert polishing and shade matching to blend seamlessly with the natural dentition, replicating the translucency and luster of real teeth.
This end-to-end digital approach minimizes invasive tooth preparation, shortens treatment cycles, and maximizes long-term durability, while delivering a natural, radiant smile that balances both aesthetic appeal and oral function.
