Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Does your COFDM wireless signal transmitter support changing frequency?
The transmitter frequency can be 160MHz~2700MHz, but our COFDM wireless receiver only supports 170~860MHz. You can specify a center frequency point, then our RF power amplifier will normally be made to operate within a frequency range of center frequency ±15MHz. For frequencies 860MHz~2700MHz, a frequency down converter is required at the receiver end.
Q2. Does this COFDM wireless signal transmitter support SDI video input?
Yes, our COFDM transmitter supports HDMI, SDI, CVBS AV, IP Ethernet RJ45 and AHD video input. Please specify your preferred input when ordering.
Q3. What's the max distance for the COFDM transmitter with 2.5W PA power amplifier?
For UAV/Drone applications, the LOS transmission range is about 50km when the UAV is at approximately 300 meters altitude, with receiver antennas installed as high as possible.
Q4. Does your VTX and RX support standard DVB-T protocol?
Yes, it supports three working modes:
1. Standard DVB-T protocol (no encryption)
2. COFDM protocol with encryption/decryption (H265/H264)
3. COFDM low latency protocol (H264 with encryption/decryption)
Q5. Can the COFDM transmitter handle simultaneous HDMI video and audio transmission?
Our wireless COFDM transmitter supports one HDMI and one auxiliary CVBS audio/video input simultaneously. Currently, it supports one sound source (selectable between HDMI or CVBS via parameter configuration board).
