Description

1) Description of Double Helical Gear

From the perspective of the relationship between power transfer efficiency and structural size, double helical gear is a form of gear

that can transmit more power in a unit volume, and the power density is improved by optimizing the tooth layout and force distribution.

2) Feature of Double Helical Gear

The transmission power is greater under the same size, and the symmetrical distribution of the teeth makes the contact stress

on the tooth surface more uniform and the material utilization rate is high. The structure is compact, and it can achieve high-power transmission

in a limited space and reduce the overall volume of the equipment. It has strong overload resistance and can be jointly borne by multiple sets of wheel teeth.

3) Working Principle

When subjected to high power input, the symmetrical teeth of the double helical gear engage with the multiple tooth surfaces of the paired gear

at the same time, distributing the torque to more contact points and reducing the load per unit tooth surface, thereby achieving efficient high-power transmission

in a smaller structure size and avoiding excessive wear or breakage of the tooth surface.
