Based on TOMUU's U20G solar actuator platform, long-stroke configurations of up to 1500mm can be evaluated for solar tracking projects according to the required load, installation dimensions and tracker structure.

The U20G platform supports heavy-duty solar tracking applications with dynamic load capacity of up to 43,000N and static load capacity of up to 150,000N.

Why a 1500mm Stroke Needs Project-Specific Evaluation

For long-stroke solar tracker applications, stroke length alone is not enough to determine the right actuator configuration. Load, side load, installation dimensions and tracker geometry should be reviewed together before final selection.

U20G Dimensions & Installation

For long-stroke configurations, the final installation dimensions should be confirmed according to the required stroke and tracker structure. Please provide the required stroke, retracted installation length, mounting points and available installation space for evaluation.

Side load conditions should also be confirmed. If the actuator may be subjected to lateral force during tracker movement, please provide the expected side load or mounting arrangement so that TOMUU can evaluate the project configuration.

The drawing above shows the U20G actuator structure for reference. For long-stroke applications, final installation dimensions and side load conditions should be confirmed with TOMUU according to the project configuration.

Long-Stroke Applications in Solar Tracking

Long-stroke actuators may be required when the tracker structure needs greater linear travel to achieve the designed tracking angle. The appropriate stroke depends on the tracker geometry, actuator mounting position and required range of movement.

For this reason, TOMUU evaluates long-stroke configurations together with load, side load and installation requirements rather than treating 1500mm as a standalone actuator specification.
