ASTM A312 Stainless Steel TP304 Serrated Finned Tubes For Superheaters In Recovery Systems

ASTM A312 TP304 serrated finned tubes are high-performance heat transfer components specifically engineered for superheater assemblies in industrial heat recovery systems. These tubes integrate the superior material properties of TP304 austenitic stainless steel with the enhanced thermal efficiency of a serrated fin geometry, creating an optimal solution for recovering waste heat from high-temperature flue gases and converting saturated steam into superheated steam.

ASTM A312 is the ASTM international standard specification for seamless, welded, and heavily cold-worked austenitic stainless steel pipes intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service.

TP304 this material can form a stable, passive chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) layer, providing excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, fresh water, and many oxidizing acids—critical for withstanding condensate and mild corrosive species in waste heat streams.Besides, it maintains good mechanical strength and oxidation resistance up to approximately 650°C (1200°F), suitable for the high-temperature zones of superheaters.

Application:Superheaters in Heat Recovery Systems
In a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) or industrial waste heat boiler, the superheater is a critical heat exchanger located in the highest-temperature gas path. Its primary function is to heat saturated steam (produced in the evaporator) to a specified superheated temperature.
