Project Applications
Segregation
Prevents mixing and maintains structural stability by separating materials with different physical properties (e.g. soil from gravel and concrete). For example, it is used in highway construction to segregate the roadbed from the fill layer and to improve the overall bearing capacity.
Filtration
Allows water to flow through while retaining soil particles to prevent erosion. Commonly used in the reverse filtration layer of water conservancy projects (e.g. embankment dams, drainage systems) and leachate filtration in landfills.
Drainage Function
Forms drainage channels to export liquid and gas inside the soil body. It is used in soft ground drainage, retaining wall drainage and other scenarios, effectively avoiding hidden engineering problems caused by water accumulation.

Reinforcement
Enhances structural stability by increasing the tensile strength of the soil body. For example, reduce the risk of soil sliding in steep slopes and roadbed reinforcement
Protective function
Disperses concentrated stresses and reduces damage to the soil from external forces. Typical applications include protection against water scouring of embankments, protection against reflective cracks in road surfaces, etc.
Seepage control function
Combined with geomembrane to form a composite seepage control material, it is used in landfills, tunnels and other projects that require strict seepage control.

Polyester non-woven geotextile has become the preferred material for isolation, protection, drainage and other needs in modern engineering due to its versatility. The specific selection needs to be combined with the comprehensive evaluation of engineering requirements (such as weight, width) and construction environment.
