The Foam Peeling Machine is a critical piece of equipment in sponge foam processing. It is primarily used to horizontally cut large rectangular sponge blanks into circular or oval sponge sheets of a specific thickness (such as seat cushions, back cushions, yoga mats, etc.). Its precise structural design ensures a smooth and precise cut surface.
High Density Foam Peeling Machine Operating Principle
1. Loading: Thread a cylindrical or rectangular (oval) sponge blank onto the center of the spindle and secure it with the pins at each end.
2. Parameter Setting: Enter the desired slice thickness, number of slices, and other parameters on the touchscreen.
3. Start: The machine starts, and the spindle begins to rotate the sponge, while the disc blade spins at high speed.
4. Cutting: Driven by the feed system, the blade carriage moves slowly and evenly along the guide rail from one end of the sponge to the other. The high-speed rotating blade cuts the sponge layer by layer.
5. Discharging and Collection: The cut sponge discs fall naturally or are caught by an auxiliary device and collected by the operator or automated equipment.
6. Reset: After completing a cut, the blade carriage automatically and quickly returns to its starting position, ready for the next cut.
