1. Does this come with a power cable?
No, this model is designed to be 100% wire-free. It runs on 2x AAA batteries (not included), so you can place it anywhere without looking for a wall socket.
2. Which ZigBee Hub do I need?
Crucial: You must use a Tuya Wired ZigBee Gateway (the one that connects to your router with an Ethernet cable). This device is NOT compatible with wireless/multimode gateways due to data transmission protocols.
3. How long do the batteries last?
Thanks to the low-power ZigBee protocol, a fresh set of high-quality alkaline batteries typically lasts between 6 to 12 months, depending on how often you use the remote.
4. Does it work with RF devices (Garage doors/Curtains)?
No, this is an Infrared (IR) only remote for devices like TVs, Air Conditioners, and Soundbars. It cannot control RF devices.
5. Can I use it for appliances in another room?
No. Infrared signals cannot pass through walls. You need to place one IR Remote in each room where you want to control devices.
