Product Overview
The CB 34-76 Type B bulwark bolted casting steel mooring chock is a ship mooring fitting used to guide mooring ropes through the bulwark area and control the rope lead direction during mooring operation. The Type B design is arranged for bolted mounting on the bulwark, and is suitable for newbuilding, replacement and repair projects where the ship structure and bolt arrangement need to match the standard dimensions or the yard drawing.
The casting body, smooth rope-contact radius, surface finishing, bolt holes, bulwark opening and surrounding ship structure should be checked together during selection. The rope-contact surface should be ground smooth to reduce rope abrasion. The 50 mm contact area around the chock body and ship structure should be free from casting or surface defects that may affect fit-up, seating quality or fastener tightening.
