Description

one-component polyurethane waterproof anti-corrosion coating for water tank and sewage tank

  1. Substrate Preparation Substrate shall be solid, flat and dry. Remove dust, oil and loose particles. Repair cracks and holes with repair mortar. Damp substrate is acceptable, standing water is forbidden.
  2. Detail Reinforcement Apply 1‑2 coats as extra reinforcement layer on corners, pipe roots, floor drains and construction joints. The width of extra layer shall be no less than 250 mm on each side. Carry out main‑surface construction after drying.
  3. Material Stirring Stir fully after opening bucket. One‑component material, no mixing ratio needed. Do not dilute with water. Seal bucket lid in time during construction interval to avoid premature curing caused by air moisture.
  4. Multi‑layer Application Apply by trowel or brush with thin multi‑coats. Heavy single‑coat is prohibited. Apply next coat only after previous coat dries, brush in cross directions to reach designed film thickness.
  5. Curing Cure naturally. Protect film from rain, ponding, treading and sharp‑object damage during curing.
  6. Inspection & Water‑storage Test Check for missing coating, pinholes and defects after full curing. Conduct 24‑48 hours water‑storage test for water‑holding areas to confirm no leakage.
  7. Protective Layer Construction Apply cement‑mortar protective layer after inspection acceptance. Not UV‑resistant. Protective covering is mandatory for exposed areas, direct exposure is not allowed.
