Martensitic Steels (MS)
Having a martensitic microstructure with small amounts of ferrite and/or bainite, martensitic steels are very strong.
The drawability of these steel grades is limited; they are best suited for bending processes such as roll forming.

Ferritic Bainitic Stels (FB)
There is a matrix of ferrite or strengthened ferrite containing bainite or strengthened bainite in ferritic-bainitic steels.
Due to grain refinement, precipitation of micro-alloying elements, and a high dislocation density, the matrix is very strong.
