The ULN2803 is a monolithic integrated high-voltage, high-current Darlington array featuring eight independent Darlington driver channels. Each channel includes a common emitter resistor and a clamp diode for inductive load suppression. This device is suitable for driving relays, stepping motors, and other inductive loads. By paralleling Darlington pairs, higher output current capability can be achieved. The ULN2803 is widely used in relay drivers, lighting drivers, display drivers (LED), stepping motor drivers, and logic buffers. Each Darlington channel has a 2.7K base resistor, allowing direct connection to TTL/CMOS circuits with a 5V operating voltage.
