Perforated base hangers, also known as perforated base insulation pins, consist of a square perforated base and metal pins/nails. These hangers are designed for securing various insulation blankets or boards in HVAC systems.

Installation Instructions

Perforated base hangers are used to connect the insulating layer with a general-purpose adhesive to masonry and other sound insulation materials. Before applying the adhesive:

  • Ensure the surface is clean and dry
  • Note that some protective coatings may not be compatible with adhesives
  • Perform a test bond before full application

After installing the pin, pierce the insulating layer on the spindle and fix it with a speed clip.
