• Note: Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH 10 is 95°F (35°C).

• Important: Oxidation damage is not covered under warranty. DuPont recommends dechlorinating feedwater before membrane exposure.

• Biological Growth Prevention: During long shutdowns, immerse membranes in a preservative solution.

• Handling and Compatibility: The customer is fully responsible for the effects of incompatible chemicals and lubricants on the elements.

System Operation and Start-Up Sequence

• Avoid static permeate-side backpressure during operation.

• Discard permeate from the first hour of operation.

• Effective cyst and pathogen removal depends on the full system design, operation, and maintenance.
