Roof and wall panels only perform as well as the board inside them. This 60 mm PUR board is foamed to fifty kilograms per cubic metre and trimmed square, so a laminator can bond steel facings without voids that later show as cold bridges. The closed cell core is rigid enough to span between purlins without sagging into the cavity.
Declared conductivity is 0.023 W/(m.K) and compressive strength is above 200 kPa, which covers installation traffic and the point loads of service equipment. Thermal break PUR boards keep their U value through years of cycling because closed cells neither collapse nor absorb water the way open cell foam does.
We supply boards in matched batches for single projects, so a facade package and a roof package produced weeks apart still share density and thickness. For export, boards are strapped in bundles with edge protection and loaded to suit container weight limits.
Thermal break PUR boards are checked for thickness at four points before packing. Where a steel frame would otherwise bridge the insulation, a thermal break PUR board is cut to the stud spacing, and each thermal break PUR board is checked for square edges. A thermal break PUR board ordered for a cold climate facade is supplied with foil facing, and on refurbishment work the thermal break PUR board fixes over the existing lining so the wall line stays unchanged.

Q: Which thickness is usual for roof panels?
A: Roof panels typically use 60 to 100 mm depending on the U value target, and boards can be laminated to the exact thickness before shipment.
Q: Can you supply the board already bonded to steel?
A: Yes, either loose core for your line or finished sandwich panels from our lamination line.
Q: How is the board protected in transit?
A: Bundles are strapped with corner boards and stretch film, and the container plan is checked against weight limits.
Q: Is a fire retardant grade available?
A: Standard production is class B1 and self extinguishing, and a higher oxygen index grade can be produced on request.
