Features of large tire shredders
I. Structural design
1. Double-axis collaborative shearing system
Adopting double-axis drive technology, the two-axis cutters are staggered and interlocked, and the tires are decomposed by rolling shearing to reduce jamming and improve crushing stability.
The moving knife and fixed knife are made of SKD11 material imported from Japan, with a hardness of HRC60° or above, supporting two-sided knife replacement and repeated repairs, and a service life of more than 1,000 tons of processing capacity.
2. Modular knife disc and forced feeding
The modular knife disc design facilitates quick replacement of knives, and is equipped with a hydraulic forced feeding system to ensure continuous and efficient feeding of large tires.
II. Processing capacity
1. Direct processing of large-size tires
It can process steel wire tires (including mouth wire) with a diameter of ≤2000mm, without pre-cutting or removing steel wire, and is suitable for various types such as bias tires and radial tires.
2. The processing capacity reaches 200-10000kg/h, and the double-axis collaboration disperses the single-axis pressure, reduces energy consumption and extends the life of the equipment.
3. Technical advantages
1. Low-speed high-torque operation
The speed is only 5-13 rpm, and with the ultra-large torque design, it achieves low noise (≤75 dB) and low dust emission, which meets environmental protection requirements.
The power transmission is optimized through the cycloidal pinwheel or planetary gear reducer to reduce energy consumption.
2. Intelligent control
The integrated PLC system supports automatic start and stop, overload protection and variable frequency speed regulation (5-60Hz), reducing the need for manual intervention and improving operational safety.
The tire recycling line can effectively realize the automatic separation of materials such as rubber, steel wire, nylon fiber,
etc. The whole line adopts a PLC control system, which is easy to operate and maintain, with low energy consumption and long service life.

Tire shredder is a mechanical device specially used for processing waste tires. It uses mechanical force to break down the whole tire into smaller rubber blocks or strips for subsequent resource utilization. Tire shredder relies on the mutual engagement and low-speed rotation (5-13 rpm) of dual-axis or multi-axis cutters to break down tires through the combined action of tearing and shearing.
The tire shredder is equipped with high-hardness alloy blades, hydraulic forced feeding system and intelligent control module to ensure processing efficiency and safety.
