General:

Epoxy Novolac Resins HWR-638 is is a Phenol Novolac epoxy resin. HWR-638 is a multifunctional resin that provides good adhesive strength, excellent heat and chemical resistance properties to formulations. Higher viscosity version of HWR-638. Suitable for use in solvent-free applications. It is recommended for use in heat resistant adhesives, composite applications, heat resistant coatings, structural laminates, civil engineering and construction applications, and for castings and moldings. For the composites market, HWR-638 is used to manufacture sporting goods, yachts, automobile parts, etc. It is often cured with various hardeners including: polyamide resins, aromatic polyamines, aliphatic polyamines, and anhydrides.
