The 5-level Ball Sieve (Ball Fiber Sieve) is an instrument used by the pulp and paper laboratory to determine the weight average fiber length of the pulp fibers by the sieving method. It is used to measure the proportion of fibers of different lengths in the pulp, and to grasp the distribution of fibers of various lengths in the pulp.
This machine complies with the screening test method specified in GB/T 2678.1-1993, and also complies with the screening method test specified in TAPPI T233cm-95, and meets the Nordic SCAN M6 (10g sample, water flow 15min, flow rate 10L/min) experimental method.
Inject the pulp suspension into the sifter. Each sieving container is equipped with a screen, and the container is stepped. When the pulp suspension flows from one container to another, the pulp with different fiber lengths is retained on different screens. The fiber length of the retained pulp is the same as the mesh size of the sieve plate. After sieving for a certain period of time at a certain water flow rate. Collect the fiber on each sieve plate, dry it, and after constant weight, report the result according to the amount of fiber remaining on each mesh to the mass percentage of the input sample.
