Software Functions

1. CE, C, and Si Content Measurement

(1) Can measure the active CE, C, and Si content of 10 target materials and calculate the cast iron grade (HT);

(2) Active CE carbon equivalent measurement range: 2.50 — 4.80%;

(3) Active C content measurement range: 2.30 — 4.20%;

(4) Active Si content measurement range: 0.60 — 3.80%;

(5) Correction values for active CE, C%, and Si% can be set within (-0.99 — +0.99).

2. Molten Iron Adjustment Calculation

Based on the target composition range, molten iron weight, carbon addition yield, silicon addition yield, and measurement results, the amount of carbon additive, ferrosilicon, or scrap steel required to achieve the target composition is calculated.

3. Spheroidization Rate Measurement

By measuring the eutectic degree and supercooling degree of the molten iron, the spheroidization rate of the spheroidal graphite cast iron can be calculated, provided that the active Mg content is sufficient.

4. Molten Iron Composition Management

Based on the product grade, the carbon equivalent, carbon content, and silicon content ranges are set. The instrument will display the content in different colors; unqualified values are displayed in red, and qualified values are displayed in green. Users can also modify the content ranges themselves.
