The Fusing Resistor RF series, also known as Coat-insulated Fusing Resistors, are designed to function as a resistor under normal conditions and provide rapid circuit protection by quickly fusing during abnormal overload situations. These resistors feature a flame-retardant coating equivalent to UL94 V-0 and comply with EU RoHS requirements. They are suitable for general use as resistors and are engineered to protect circuits from excessive overload. While versatile, it is crucial to contact the manufacturer before using these products in critical applications such as automotive, medical, or aerospace equipment, as malfunction or failure in such scenarios could lead to severe consequences.
