I.Overview
FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) is positioned as a “large-capacity storage + corrosion-resistant pretreatment” solution in ultra-pure water (resistivity ≥ 18.2 MΩ·cm) systems. Its hygiene and economic efficiency have been verified in the system, where it is mainly used in storage tanks, pretreatment equipment, piping systems, and wastewater treatment. Its core advantages are corrosion resistance, no pollution release, and high structural strength.
II.Standard Process
Raw Water → Raw Water Tank → Booster Pump → Flocculant/Reducer Dosing → Activated Carbon Filter → Ultrafiltration (UF) → Scale Inhibitor Dosing → Security Filter → 1st Stage High-Pressure Pump → 1st Stage RO → pH Adjustment → Intermediate Tank → 2nd Stage High-Pressure Pump → 2nd Stage RO → Purified Water Tank → EDI Booster Pump → UV Sterilizer → Cartridge Filter → EDI System → Ultra-Pure Water Tank → Transfer Pump → TOC Removal Unit → Polishing Resin → Final Filter → Point of Use
III.Application of FRP in Ultra - pure Water Treatment Systems
Application Areas | Details
Application in Pretreatment Systems | Filter Vessels | FRP is widely used for the shells of multi - media filters, water softeners, and activated carbon filters |
Pressure Vessels for Ultrafiltration (UF) Systems | FRP pressure vessels carry ultrafiltration membrane modules and are widely used in seawater desalination and wastewater recycling
Application in Storage | Ultra - pure Water Storage Tanks | FRP storage tanks are one of the preferred containers for storing ultra - pure water, especially suitable for fields with high - purity water quality requirements such as electronics and pharmaceuticals |
IV.FRP Advantageous Fields
Ultra-pure water storage tanks
Pre-treatment filters
Wastewater treatment tanks
Seawater desalination pressure vessels
V.Here is a guideline for you to get a proper quotation
Tell us the raw water/source of water(tap water, well water, or sea water, etc)
Provide water analysis report(TDS , conductivity, or resistivity, etc)
Required production capacity( 5m³/H, 50m³/H,or 500m³/H, etc)
What's the pure water used for( industrial,Food and Beverage,or agriculture, etc )
