IR Double-layer Curing Automatic Conformal Coating Line with SMEMA Dual-machine Single-oven
The 730+IR3DS-6 Double-Sided Conformal Coating Production Line represents a strategic investment engineered to deliver maximum ROI through complete automation of double-sided PCB coating processes. This integrated system eliminates manual board flipping and separate processing runs, consolidating top and bottom side coating into one continuous, high-efficiency workflow that requires minimal operator intervention.
Dual-Coater Configuration Advantages
The line's dual-coater configuration delivers significant operational advantages. By processing both sides in a single pass, manufacturers effectively double their production throughput compared to single-sided lines that require re-handling and reprocessing, while eliminating bottlenecks and quality variations associated with manual board handling.
Infrared Curing Technology
The IR3DS-6 Infrared Curing Oven further enhances efficiency with its ability to cure coatings on both sides simultaneously, eliminating the need for separate curing cycles. This multi-zone oven delivers uniform heating with rapid warm-up times, maximizing throughput while minimizing energy consumption.
Quality and Cost Savings: The precision of HP-730 coating machines significantly improves first-pass yield, reducing costly rework and material waste. For manufacturers requiring complete double-sided PCB protection, cumulative savings in labor, handling time, floor space, and increased throughput typically result in full ROI within 18-24 months.
Production Process Flow
1. Manually place PCBA boards (component side up) into the automatic feeding conveyor
2. Boards transfer from feeding conveyor into conformal coating machine for top side (A-side) spraying
3. After coating, PCBA boards enter sealing inspection conveyor for buffering and leveling
4. Boards proceed to flipping machine for inversion, then enter coating machine for bottom side (B-side) spraying
5. After B-side coating, boards enter infrared curing oven for final curing
6. Following curing, boards move to inspection and collection station for manual sampling inspection and removal
