The chair stability tester is designed for comprehensive testing of various office chairs, stools, and seating products. This equipment evaluates mechanical properties including forward stability and backward stability at room temperature. Testing Applications
Forward Stability Test
Position the sample on the platform using 13mm mobile blocks to prevent wheel movement. The cylinder-driven lifting mechanism applies 610N force at the seat surface center position, 60mm from the leading edge. Simultaneously, a 20N horizontal tension is applied to the chair back to evaluate forward stability performance and measure deformation under defined test loads.
Backward Stability Test
Secure the sample on the platform with 13mm blocks to prevent sliding. For chairs with insufficient back height, additional blocks are used to accommodate the loading plate. Apply 1300N force on the seat surface while applying horizontal thrust 6mm from the top to assess backward stability performance.
