The standard version of the KGD - WQ - 517 Non - Road Machinery/Diesel Vehicle Exhaust Smoke Detection System is equipped with a transmissive smoke meter, an engine tachometer, an environmental parameter tester, a data interaction module, a router, a sampling probe, a high-strength case, a tablet computer, and professional non-road testing software. Additionally, an oil temperature sensor, a video camera, and a printer are optional.

It can measure parameters such as exhaust smoke, rotational speed, ambient temperature and humidity, and atmospheric pressure of engines/diesel vehicles. The system adopts a portable design. The transmissive smoke meter is integrated with a high-capacity battery, enabling on-vehicle measurement and real-time monitoring of emission levels under actual operating conditions. The detection process is highly automated, not restricted by on-site and environmental conditions, which shortens the detection time for a single engine/vehicle and improves the work efficiency of road inspections, spot checks, and enterprise supervision inspections.
