Batch Off Release Agent SR-P20
Technical Introduction
SR-P20 is a low-ash, powdered film release agent composed of ultra-fine inorganic fillers, activators, and surface treatment agents. It is used to prevent the adhesion of unvulcanized rubber and rubber compound sheets during storage and processing. The aqueous dispersion of SR-P20 exhibits excellent suspension stability; even at low dilution concentrations, it will not stratify or settle for several hours. This effectively prevents contact between the rubber sheet and settled sludge at the bottom during the film dipping and cooling process, avoiding the problem of hard lumps forming on the film surface after drying. SR-P20 forms an elastic release film on the surface of the rubber sheet, providing good release performance and preventing dust generation. SR-P20 dissolves well into the rubber during subsequent mixing and vulcanization processes, without affecting its physical and chemical properties. SR-P20 does not produce troublesome foaming during use.
Application Areas:
Used in the mixing process to prevent the adhesion of unvulcanized rubber and rubber compound sheets during storage and processing. Suitable for all elastomers.
Usage:
The recommended concentration of SR-P20 release agent is 3.5±1%, determined by the ambient temperature of the processing workshop, the composition of the rubber, and the viscosity of the compound. Generally, in summer, a higher concentration should be used for some viscous rubbers, and vice versa. Hot water can accelerate the dispersion of the release agent in water; the dispersion time is approximately 30 minutes. Fresh release agent dispersion should be added to the dipping tank from the mixing tank regularly. Maintain the liquid level of the release agent dispersion in the dipping tank at more than 2/3 of the total volume to avoid insufficient solution, excessive temperature, and improper cooling and dipping of the rubber sheets.
