Technical Characteristics
LKF-G657A2 Bending-Insensitive Single-Mode Fiber boasts two outstanding features: excellent bending resistance and low water peak. It is engineered to fully utilize the O-E-S-C-L wavelength band (1260~1625nm) for transmission, effectively supporting the optical system's capacity expansion demand.
The fiber’s excellent bending resistance not only ensures stable operation in the L band but also facilitates installation, especially in FTTx networks. It can be routed along corners with minimal bending radius. Meanwhile, its mode field diameter (MFD) is consistent with standard G.652 single-mode fiber, ensuring low connection loss, including splicing loss and insertion loss.
It is fully compatible with G.652 single-mode fiber and applicable to optical cables of various structures, including ribbon cables, small-size optical cables and fiber optic devices. It perfectly meets the network’s requirements for capacity, flexibility and small bending radius scenarios.
LKF-G657A2 meets or exceeds the technical specifications of ITU-T G.652.D/G.657A1/G.657A2/G.657.B2 and IEC 60793-2-50 B1.3/B6.a1/B6.a2/B6.b2 fibers. With precise geometric parameters, it ensures low splicing loss and high splicing efficiency. Its high fatigue resistance parameters guarantee a long service life even under small bending radii, with extremely low additional bending loss.
