Oil Rig Equipment Oil Well Lifting Equipment API 8C Hook DG675​

The hook complies with API Spec 8A. The hook is equipped with the reliable safety devices on the main hook, and with a hydraulic snubber assembly to protect drill pipe joint. The main parts are made of high strength alloy steels and are subjected to nondestructive testing.

Features

The body, the bail and the bail support are cast with special alloy steel.

Equipped with a hydraulic snubber assembly to protect drill pipe joints when making up/breaking out connections.

At the hook there is a reliable safety device.

It is provided with a braking device to lock up & lock out the body.

The primary-load-carrying parts of hook are subject to NDE test.

The hooks conform to API Spec 8A/8C.
