Application:

4132A014M1 is the low-pressure fuel lift pump that feeds Perkins 1004-4, 1004-4T and 1004-4TW engines (4.0 L, 4-cylinder) installed in Massey Ferguson 6400- and 8200-series tractors, Landini Legend 105/115 row-crop machines, JCB 4CX backhoe loaders and 535-95 telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P18-6 and Pramac GSW85P generator sets. It mounts on the left-hand side of the timing gear cover and draws fuel from the tank to the injection pump at rated engine speeds of 800–2 400 r/min.

Technical specifications:

The pump body is a cast-aluminium single-stage diaphragm type with integral hand-priming lever. Nominal flow is 120 L/h at 400 kPa and 2 000 r/min, inlet/outlet ports are 8 mm hose-barb fittings, and the mounting flange is SAE J744 size 1 with two M8 threaded holes on 60 mm centres. Diaphragm diameter is 80 mm, stroke 5.5 mm, and the actuating lever is driven by the engine camshaft through a hardened eccentric. All gaskets and seals are FKM (Viton) for biodiesel compatibility up to B20 and for operation down to −40 °C.

Material & performance features:

The die-cast aluminium housing is powder-coated for corrosion resistance; the diaphragm is multi-layer fabric-reinforced nitrile rubber with PTFE facing for low swell and long flex life. The actuating lever and push-rod are induction-hardened medium-carbon steel, while the internal spring is stainless steel for anti-stick performance in high-humidity environments. A spring-loaded bypass valve prevents over-pressure and cavitation, and a transparent sediment bowl with replaceable paper element filters particles down to 80 µm. Lightweight construction, low noise signature and maintenance-free sealed bearings make the unit ideal for continuous-duty service.
