Application:

KRP1679 is a robust mechanical diaphragm lift pump designed for Perkins 4.236 and AT4.236 turbocharged diesel engines (4.0 L, 4-cylinder) that power Massey Ferguson 2400- and 3400-series tractors, MF 7200 combine harvesters, Landini Legend 105/115/130 row-crop machines, JCB 3CX backhoe loaders and 530-70 telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P22-6 and Pramac GSW85P skid-mounted generator sets. Mounted on the left-hand timing-gear cover, it draws fuel from the tank and supplies clean, pressurised fuel to the high-pressure injection pump across engine speeds from 750 r/min idle to 2 400 r/min rated.

Technical specifications:

Cast-iron single-diaphragm pump delivers 110 L/h at 300 kPa and 2 000 r/min; inlet and outlet ports are 8 mm hose-barb fittings. Four-bolt SAE J744 size 1 flange (58 mm × 58 mm PCD) is actuated directly by the camshaft eccentric. Diaphragm diameter is 78 mm, stroke 5 mm, and the integral bypass valve limits pressure to 350 kPa. All sealing gaskets are FKM (Viton) for biodiesel compatibility up to B20 and arctic-grade diesel down to −45 °C.

The powder-coated cast-iron housing resists salt-spray and stone-chip corrosion; the multi-layer fabric-reinforced nitrile diaphragm faced with PTFE ensures low swell and extended flex life. Induction-hardened medium-carbon steel lever and push-rod resist wear, while a stainless-steel return spring prevents sag in humid climates. A translucent sight-bowl sediment filter with 80 µm paper element traps water and debris, and the spring-loaded priming lever allows rapid manual bleeding after service. Lightweight, maintenance-free sealed bearings and quiet operation make the unit ideal for continuous-duty agricultural, construction and generator applications.
