Application:

CH10439 is the hand-priming lift pump engineered for Perkins T4.236 and AT4.236 turbocharged diesel engines (4.0 L, 4-cylinder) that power Massey Ferguson 2400- and 3400-series tractors, MF 7200 combine harvesters, Landini Legend 105/115/130 orchard and row-crop machines, JCB 3CX backhoe loaders and 530-70 telescopic handlers, plus FG Wilson P22-6 and Pramac GSW85P skid-mounted generator sets. It mounts on the left-hand timing-gear cover and allows rapid manual priming of the fuel system after filter changes or after the machine has stood idle, ensuring dependable cold starts and continuous operation across agricultural, construction and standby-power sectors.

Technical specifications:

Cast-aluminium single-diaphragm pump delivers 90 L/h at 250 kPa with hand-lever operation; inlet and outlet ports are 8 mm hose-barb fittings. SAE J744 size 1 flange with two M8 threaded holes on 60 mm centres is actuated by the camshaft eccentric. Diaphragm diameter is 72 mm, stroke 5 mm, and the integral bypass valve limits pressure to 300 kPa. All sealing gaskets are FKM (Viton) for biodiesel compatibility up to B20 and ultra-low-sulphur diesel down to −40 °C.

The powder-coated aluminium housing resists salt-spray and stone-chip corrosion; the multi-layer fabric-reinforced nitrile diaphragm is PTFE-faced for low swell and extended flex life. Induction-hardened medium-carbon steel lever and push-rod resist wear, while a stainless-steel return spring prevents sag in humid climates. A translucent sight-bowl sediment filter with 80 µm paper element traps water and debris, and the spring-loaded priming lever enables rapid manual bleeding without tools. Lightweight, maintenance-free sealed bearings and quiet operation make the unit ideal for continuous-duty agricultural, construction and generator applications.
