Designed for oversized hardcover books, yearbooks, and coffee table books, this extra‑wide back strip (35‑50 mm) provides full coverage for spines up to 30mm thick. The 85 g/m² long‑fiber paper delivers high tensile strength (≥3.2 kN/m) and excellent fold endurance, ensuring the spine remains straight and resistant to creasing. Compatible with hot melt and PVA adhesives.

Process Introduction

Parent rolls are produced on a wide‑web coating line. After adhesive application and drying, the web is slit into extra‑wide rolls using heavy‑duty slitting equipment. Special care is taken to maintain uniform tension across the wide width to prevent edge wrinkles. The final product is vacuum‑packed to avoid dust contamination.
