Description

Specially dried to a moisture content of ≤6% (standard ≤8%), this low‑moisture back strip ensures rapid adhesive setting and prevents paper warpage or wrinkling after binding. It is ideal for environments with high humidity or for books that require immediate further processing. Made from long‑fiber kraft paper with enhanced flatness.

Process Introduction

After adhesive coating, the paper passes through an extended drying tunnel with multiple temperature zones (80‑110°C) and additional dehumidification. Infrared sensors monitor final moisture content. The dried web is cooled slowly to room temperature under controlled humidity to lock in flatness. Finished rolls are sealed in moisture‑barrier packaging.
