Process Introduction

Produced using modern acid‑free high‑viscosity beating: 70‑80% softwood pulp blended with 20‑30% hardwood pulp. Beating degree ≥90°SR fully fibrillates fibers and expels internal air bubbles. Web forming at 0.6‑1.0% consistency, low‑temperature primary drying (60‑80°C), then semi‑dry calendering (80‑120 kN/m) at 12‑15% moisture to close pores. Surface sizing with stearic acid starch and PVA on a roller coater ensures waterproofing and ink resistance. Secondary drying (80‑100°C) to 6‑8% moisture, then finishing calendering for smoothness ≥300s.
