This standard high-speed configuration uses a 100 mm flange, 3 AC 400 V motor winding, smooth steel shaft and SinCos single-turn encoder. It operates at 5000 RPM and has a 1.4 kW cut-off power rating, 2.6 Nm applied standstill torque and 10 Nm peak torque.

The model is supplied without a holding brake and without surface ventilation. Protection code 45 corresponds to IP64 protection at the shaft and IP65 protection at the motor housing.

The SM-100/50/030/P0/45/S1/B0 is intended for legacy Schneider ELAU PacDrive M motion-control systems. Typical applications include high-speed packaging machines, feeders, labeling equipment, printing machinery, conveyors, indexing mechanisms and automated assembly equipment.

The motor must be matched to the installed servo drive, controller project, 400 V winding, feedback interface and complete motor and encoder cable set. Compatibility should not be determined only from the SM-100 frame size.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

Verify the complete slash-format model and article number before replacement. The 50/030 winding, protection code 45, S1 encoder and B0 non-brake configuration are all relevant to compatibility.

Do not automatically replace this motor with an M1 multi-turn encoder version, a brake-equipped B1 version or a motor using protection code 44 or 55. Such differences may affect drive parameters, machine referencing, cable compatibility and environmental protection.

Inspect the shaft, coupling, motor bearings, power connector, feedback connector, protective earth and complete cable set before commissioning.
