IAI RCA2-TCA4NA-I-20-2-30-A1-S is a compact table-type electric actuator configured for higher thrust and controlled short-stroke movement. It combines a TCA4NA guided table body, 20W AC servo motor, incremental encoder, 2 mm ball-screw lead and 30 mm working stroke.

Compared with the lead-4 and lead-6 versions, the lead-2 configuration provides lower maximum speed but higher payload and thrust capability. It is suitable for compact pressing, insertion, clamping and precision positioning applications.

This actuator can be used in component insertion, small pressing stations, clamping mechanisms, test fixtures, alignment systems, precision assembly and other equipment requiring stable guided motion over a 30 mm stroke.

The higher payload and thrust values apply only when the actuator is installed and operated within the specified acceleration, mounting-orientation and duty-cycle limits. Side loads, excessive moment loads and mechanical impacts should be avoided.

Selection and Replacement Notes

Confirm that the application requires the 2 mm lead. Replacing this actuator with a lead-4 or lead-6 version increases available speed but reduces thrust and changes payload capability, positioning parameters and machine cycle behavior.

The exact 30 mm stroke, A1 controller specification and S cable or option suffix must be checked against the original nameplate. A visually similar RCA2-TCA4NA unit may have a different lead, stroke, controller connection or cable length.

Before removing the installed actuator, save the controller parameters and record the home-return direction, mechanical datum, workpiece position and cable routing. After installation, test the axis at reduced speed and verify stroke limits, motion direction and machine safety functions.
