PVP-K30 is a nonionic polymer compound that has been deeply studied and widely applied in N-ethyleneamine polymers and belongs to fine chemical products. The core parameter K value is a characteristic index directly related to the relative viscosity of PVP aqueous solution. At present, this product has been developed into three major categories (nonionic, cationic, anionic), three specifications (industrial grade, pharmaceutical grade, food grade), and a series of product forms with relative molecular weights ranging from several thousand to over a million, covering homopolymers, copolymers and cross-linked polymers.

Applications:

1. Pharmaceutical Industry:
• Adhesive: Used for shaping tablets and granules, enhancing mechanical strength.
• Stabilizer: Increases the bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs and protects heat-sensitive drugs (such as enzyme preparations).
• Coating agent: Forms a uniform film, improving the rate of drug release.
2. Cosmetics and Personal Care:
• Styling products: Used as styling agents in hair sprays (4-8%) and mousse (0.5-5%), giving hair shine and elasticity.
• Skin care agents: Forming film in sunscreen and masks, protecting against ultraviolet rays; enhancing moisturizing effect in moisturizing creams (0.1-1.0%).
• Cleaning products: Foaming stabilizer in shampoo, anti-scaling agent in toothpaste (PVPP derivative).
