Description :

VP/eicosene copolymer is is formed by the copolymerization of the hydrophilic monomer n-vinylpyrrolidone (VP) and the hydrophobic monomer Eicosene (C₂₀H₄₀).

The main functions in the cosmetics field are as follows:

In makeup products such as lipsticks, eyeshadows, and foundation, it can promote the dispersion of color pigments, increase color uniformity, enhance color saturation, and provide dense film-forming properties, making the makeup last longer; in sunscreen products, it helps improve the adhesion and water resistance of sunscreen agents on the skin, enhance the sun protection effect, and also has a synergistic enhancing effect with chemical sunscreen agents, increasing the sun protection index of the sunscreen product; in addition, it can also be used in hair care products such as hair gel and mousse, providing shaping and moisturizing effects.
