The BC6085 is a heavy-duty metal shaper designed for efficient plane, bevel, and groove processing of medium-sized metal workpieces. It adopts a classic structure composed of bed, ram, rocker, gearbox, feed box, crossbeam, worktable, lubrication system and electrical system, ensuring high rigidity and stable performance for long-term workshop use.
The machine features an 850mm maximum shaping length and an 800×450mm worktable. The ram reciprocates on the bed guideways with 6 adjustable stroke speeds (17 to 100 strokes per minute), driven by the motor through the transmission belt, gearbox and rocker mechanism. Adjusting the rocker crank radius allows different cutting strokes and speeds to match various machining requirements. The tool post at the front of the ram has a 160mm travel and can swivel ±60° for bevel shaping, supporting a maximum tool size of 25×40mm.
The crossbeam can move vertically (manual or motorized) along the bed guideways, while the worktable moves horizontally (manual or motorized) along the crossbeam guideways. Both movements offer 12 levels of feed rates, which can be adjusted during operation. The worktable also supports quick movement (horizontal 1.2m/min, vertical 0.58m/min) for efficient workpiece positioning. The worktable front end is supported by a right bracket to enhance stability during heavy cutting.
Equipped with a 5.5kW main motor and a 1.1kW rapid feed motor, the machine includes a brake system to quickly stop the ram at any position, and a safety clutch to prevent accidents from feed faults. All key components (gearbox, feed box, ram guideways, rocker mechanism) are centrally lubricated by an oil pump, with adjustable oil flow to reduce wear and extend service life. The machine also features a return tool lifting device to protect the workpiece and tool during non-cutting strokes.

1. Install the machine on a reinforced concrete foundation to ensure stable heavy-duty operation.
2. Connect to a standard three-phase power supply with reliable grounding for electrical safety.
3. Before operation, check the lubrication system, oil level, and tool clamping to ensure normal function.
4. Securely clamp workpieces and tools before starting the machine to prevent accidents.
5. Do not change stroke speed or feed rate while the machine is running to protect transmission parts.
6. Wear protective goggles and avoid loose clothing or jewelry near moving components during operation.
7. Regularly clean chips from the worktable, guideways, and ram to maintain accuracy and prevent wear.
8. When idle for extended periods, turn off the power, apply anti-rust oil to exposed metal surfaces, and cover the machine.
