Glass Fiber Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is a non-woven reinforcement material composed of randomly distributed E-glass fibers (SiO₂ 52-56%, Al₂O₃ 12-16%) chopped to 50mm lengths, bonded by powder or emulsion binders (e.g., polyester powder). Its isotropic structure ensures uniform resin permeability and mechanical strength in all directions, making it ideal for hand lay-up, compression molding, and resin infusion processes.
