1. Product Introduction​​

Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) is a non-woven fiberglass reinforcement material engineered for exceptional durability and versatility. Composed of randomly oriented E-glass or C-glass fibers bonded with polyester or emulsion binders, it delivers uniform strength, rapid wet-out, and excellent moldability. Ideal for hand lay-up and open-mold applications, CSM ensures consistent fiber distribution for high-performance composites in marine, automotive, and construction industries.

​​Curing​​

Heat treatment activates binder curing, ensuring dimensional stability.

Parameters like weight (100–900 g/m²), thickness (0.045–0.12 inches), and adhesion are tested.

  • ​​Storage​​: Keep in dry, cool environments (15–35°C) away from humidity and direct sunlight.

  • ​​Temperature Limits​​: Operate within -40°C to 120°C; avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat.
