KCB Series Self-Priming Gear Oil Pump 1-576m³/h for Diesel, Fuel Oil and Lubricant Transfer
The KCB series gear oil pump is an external-meshing positive displacement gear pump, mainly composed of a pair of meshing driving and driven gears, a pump body, floating bushings, a built-in safety valve and sealing components. It is widely used for lubricant, diesel, fuel oil and other oil transfer, loading and unloading. With a flow range of 1-576 m³/h, a rated pressure of 0.33-1.45 MPa and strong self-priming capability, it delivers stable flow output for medium and low pressure oil conveying.
Key Features
- Positive displacement conveying with stable output flow and excellent self-priming capability
- Herringbone/spiral heat-treated gears for smooth, low-noise running and long wear-resistant service life
- Built-in safety valve as standard for system overload protection
- Wetted parts available in cast iron, 304/316 stainless steel and copper gear options, suitable for oil and some mildly corrosive media
- Lower speed adapts to high-viscosity media; simple structure, easy disassembly and maintenance
- Note: hard solid particles and long fibers must be kept out of the medium, otherwise gears will wear and jam

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the KCB gear pump handle media with solid particles?
Not recommended. It is an external-meshing gear structure; hard particles will quickly wear the gears and bushings and reduce flow. The inlet must be filtered to remove solid particles and fiber impurities.
Can the safety valve be used as a long-term pressure reducing valve?
No. The safety valve is only for short-time overload protection. Continuous pressure reduction requires a separate reducing valve on the external pipeline.
How to select the pump for high-viscosity media?
Reduce the pump working speed to lower the motor load and ensure effective output flow.
What are the common causes of no oil output?
1) Pump not primed or suction line leaking air; 2) motor rotating in reverse; 3) inlet filter clogged; 4) gears worn with large clearance causing severe internal leakage.
What is the difference between KCB and 2CY?
The two are similar in principle and structure. 2CY is a high-pressure model with higher output pressure, while KCB is mostly used for medium/low pressure oil transfer and comes with a built-in overflow safety valve.
