Product Description:
Once the GKH horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge achieves full operational rotational speed, the feed inlet valve opens. The suspension is introduced into the centrifuge drum through the distribution hopper, spreading evenly across the internal filtration medium surface. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the liquid phase permeates the filtration medium and drum apertures to be discharged out of the system, while the solid phase settles to form a dense filter cake. When the sediment layer reaches the designated thickness parameter, the feed inlet valve closes to conduct solid-phase rinsing and subsequent drying processes. Finally, the rotating scraper blade scrapes off the sediment, which is expelled through a discharge chute or screw conveyor unit.
