Product Description:
At rated speed, the GKH horizontal scraper centrifuge opens the feed valve. The suspension enters the drum via the distribution hopper and spreads evenly on the filter medium. Centrifugal force separates solid and liquid: liquid passes through the medium and drum openings, while solids form a dense filter cake.

Once the cake reaches the preset thickness, the feed valve closes for washing and drying. A rotating scraper discharges the cake, which is then conveyed out through a chute or screw conveyor.
