Product Description:
When the GKH horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge attains rated speed, the feed valve opens. Suspension enters the drum through the distribution hopper and spreads evenly on the filtration medium. Centrifugal force separates liquid (discharged through medium/drum holes) and solid (forming dense filter cake). At preset sediment thickness, the feed valve closes for rinsing and drying. The rotating scraper scrapes off sediment, which is discharged via chute or screw conveyor.
