Long-Pile Clay Mitt
This car detailing mitt has two handy sides: one is soft, fuzzy long-pile fabric, and the other is smooth ultra-fine microfiber with a clay layer.
Why It’s Great
- Does 2 Jobs: Use the long-pile side to dust lightly, spread lubricant, or wipe off extra product. The clay side tackles tough stuff like overspray and road grime on paint, glass, and headlights.
- Kind to Paint: No scratches! The soft microfiber and clay work gently to clean without harming your car’s finish.
- Easy to Hold: The mitt fits right in your hand, so you can grip it well and clean curved parts easily.
- Use Again & Again: Just rinse it after use (way better than one-time clay bars) and it’s good to go.
Mitt Usage Instructions
- Wash First: Thoroughly clean the car to remove loose dirt and grime.
- Wet the Mitt: Soak the mitt in water or car wash liquid, then gently scrub the car (including glass).
- Keep Moist: Re-wet and rinse the mitt if it dries out—avoids paint scratches.
- Wax Dry: Let the car dry fully, then wax to fix minor scratches/white spots.
