Long-Pile Clay Mitt
A handy car detailing mitt with two sides: one soft long-pile fabric, the other ultra-fine microfiber towel coated with clay.
Key Features
- 2-in-1 Function: Long-pile side for gentle dusting, spreading lubricant, or wiping excess product. Clay-microfiber side removes tough contaminants (overspray, traffic film) from paint, glass, and headlights.
- Surface-Safe: Won’t scratch delicate paint—thanks to the soft microfiber base and flexible clay.
- Easy to Hold & Use: Mitt shape fits your hand well, gripping easily and conforming to curved vehicle surfaces.
- Reusable: Rinse clean after use (unlike traditional clay bars) and it’s ready again.
Clay Mitt Usage Instructions (Beginner-Friendly)
- Step 1: Prep the Car Wash your car carefully with soap and water first—this wipes away loose dirt, grime, and dust so they don’t scratch the paint later.
- Step 2: Get the Mitt Ready Soak the Clay Mitt completely in water or car wash liquid (it needs to be fully wet!). Then gently scrub every part of the car, even the glass.
- Step 3: Keep It Moist (Key!) Never let the mitt dry out while using it! If it feels stiff or stops gliding, soak it in water again and rinse off any trapped dirt before continuing. This protects your car’s paint from scratches.
- Step 4: Finish with Wax Wait until the car is 100% dry, then apply wax. The wax will not only add shine but also get rid of small scratches or white spots left after cleaning.
