Needle winding is the preferred process for producing internally or externally wound stators or rotors with complex winding schemes and pole chains (see Singletooth Winding).

During needle winding, the needle (nozzle) that feeds the wire moves horizontally or vertically along the pole, effectively "circling" the pole to wind it. This method offers superior flexibility compared to alternatives, allowing XINGTE needle winding machines to process multiple different products simultaneously within the same machine while achieving high operating speeds without compromising process reliability.

The stator remains stationary during winding. All needle movements are motorized, programmable, and managed in direct drive mode (no cam system, no belts, no lead screw).
