This 8 inch mecanum wheel uses PU (polyurethane) rollers on a stainless steel core, mounted in a hard anodized 7075-T6 aluminum hub. The PU tread keeps grip high and running noise low while protecting epoxy and tile floors, and the bolt-on quick change roller module cuts maintenance downtime from hours to minutes.
The mecanum wheel carries a series of rollers set at 45° to the wheel plane. By pairing left hand and right hand roller sets and driving each wheel independently, the chassis moves forward, sideways, diagonally or rotates in place without any steering mechanism. This gives AGV and AMR platforms full omnidirectional mobility in narrow aisles.
Standard rollers are PU. For special environments we also supply rubber rollers for higher grip, ESD conductive PU for electronics lines, and stainless steel rollers for high temperature or washdown areas. Roller hardness and color can be customized against your floor condition and duty cycle.
Diameter, width, shaft hole type (keyway or flange), roller material (PU, rubber, ESD conductive PU, stainless) and surface color can be customized. OEM and ODM orders are welcome, and drawing based development is supported by our in-house engineering team.
Q: What material are the rollers?
A: Standard rollers are PU (polyurethane) with a stainless steel core, 90A Shore hardness. Rubber, ESD PU and stainless options are available on request.
Q: How long does a roller module replacement take?
A: One module is fixed by a single bolt set. On site replacement typically takes 5 to 10 minutes per wheel.
Q: What is the lead time?
A: 20-25 working days after deposit, covering both standard and customized shaft and roller configurations.
