This signal conditioner provides galvanic isolation between field circuits and control circuits. The device repeats input signals from control systems to drive SMART I/P converters, electrical valves, and positioners located on the field side.

Digital signals are superimposed on analog values and transferred bi-directionally. Current is transferred via DC/DC converter and repeated at output terminals. Open field circuits present high impedance to the control side, enabling alarm condition monitoring by the control system. Integrated test sockets allow connection of HART communicators directly at device terminals.
